Road to Rio+20

We’re continuing to mobilize youth around the world to voice their ideas on sustainable development, to be forwarded to the leaders of the Rio+20 process, which will lead up to a historical UN summit next summer in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

But ideas are not enough, we need all of you to take action! Through education, entrepreneurship, arts and the many forms of advocacy for our common cause of bringing back the planet to a more sustainable path

How can you help? Check our website, opportunities are plenty… walk with us on the Road to Rio+20!

Musical Splendor &
New York, New York

We have had a busy few months recently - the 6th World Youth Congress website and its application form was launched, the Sustainaville and sustainable development education books are nearing their deadline (making those working on them, a bit panicky) and we have got the Rio+20 musical on its feet, along with a nice trip to the UN in New York.

Rio+20 Musical
Michael Gentle directed a cast of 8 young people in the 2012 Peace Child musical, which focuses on Rio+20 and how we can take action right now. The musical was performed in Cambridge University and at the general UNESCO October conference in Paris
You yourself can download the new Peace Child musical to perform it in your school or community and get in touch with Micheal himself at
