RPNM Statement On One Year To Election Day 2012

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Monty Newman issued the following statement marking one year until Election Day 2012:

“After three years of President Obama’s failed leadership and broken promises, New Mexicans are worse off than they were before he took office. We are fighting a burdensome federal regulatory climate and spending schemes that leave New Mexico’s next generation facing a mountain of debt. New Mexicans can’t afford another year let alone another four years of President Obama’s failed economic agenda.

“Thankfully folks across the Land of Enchantment have Governor Martinez combating Barack Obama’s dangerous policies and recruiting businesses to New Mexico. If the past three years have taught us anything, it’s that hope doesn’t hire, and New Mexico residents need real economic leadership not empty rhetoric coming from Washington.  Faced with one of the most important elections of our lifetime, I’m confident that one year from today, New Mexico will do our part to make Barack Obama a one-term president.”
