Healing Ragas Series is here
After months of delaying, Meditations: Ragas on Saxophone, aka Healing Ragas is finally here as a weekly series with a new track each week. This music uses energy healing techniques in combination with rendition of ragas on solo saxophone. It is part of my own practice to go deeper within and to heal through music, so there is no monetary value associated with it. It is available to anyone who woud like to listen. There are a few ways you can download this music and learn more about it.

Performances
There are some great concerts coming up. VidyA is back at the Red Poppy Art House and Yerba Buena Gardens Festival June 18 and 30 respectively. I am also playing as a guest with Anthony Brown's Asian American Jazz Orchestra on May 28 in SF as well. All the details are here.
I recently had the pleasure of playing with the East-West band Asian Crisis led by Jason Jong at OACC last week as part of a Japan Relief benefit. Jason and also Dohee Lee are such amazing percussionists. It was a great event and I have since heard they were able to raise a large amount of funds to help relief efforts in Japan.
On that note, thank you for your support in last month's push for contributions to Japan through my website. It was a great success and the donation went to Red Cross immediately after.
