This year’s Annual Spring Gala, Benefit & Auction is scheduled for March 23, 2012. Be on the lookout for your invitation in your child’s folder this week! Book Sale Café
The Book Sale Café will happen on Thursday, March 1 from 6.00p-8.00p. On Friday, March 2 kids should bring a little money as all classes will have an opportunity to visit the sale. Used books can be dropped off in 5th grade classrooms or Mr. Amos' office starting Monday, February 27. At the event, coffee and baked goods will be sold. Live entertainment will be provided on the Open Mic by student performers as well as parent musicians.
Test Prep (for Third Grade and Up)
There will be a test prep workshop on Wednesday, February 29 at 6.00p (location to be announced). The workshop will cover the structure of the reading and math state tests, as well as give an overview of the Acuity website. The Acuity website gives detailed reports of 2 math and ELA tests that your child has taken in class. It also has an instructional section that your child can use to practice reading and math skills. We will show you how to access the website, make sense of the reports, and use the instructional section.
