FIVE BELOW Fundraiser
By Explorer Express
Are you in need of some stocking stuffers or holiday gifts? Consider purchasing them at FIVE BELOW this holiday season. Between December 3 -31, ANYONE (it does not need to be a Weatherstone parent or student) who makes a purchase at FIVE BELOW and tells the cashier it is for the Weatherstone Elementary School fundraiser, FIVE BELOW will donate 10% of the purchase to the PTA. A flyer was sent home last Tuesday. If you do not have the flyer, that is okay, SIMPLY TELL the cashier during checkout that you are supporting the WES fundraiser. They will mark your receipt and file it. The store has some great gift ideas, so I hope you will pay them a visit for some of your holiday needs!
FIVE BELOW is located in Cary Crossroads between Toys R Us and Best Buy. Happy Shopping!
NOTE: We have been made aware, by several families, of unsuccessful attempts to participate in this fundraiser. Customers were told they needed the flyer to get credit. The management staff of the store has been informed and has spoken with the store employees. As it turns out, Five Below (the corporation) changed a policy to require the flyer. They have agreed to honor participants for our fundraiser with OR without the flyer (but if you have it, better to bring it). The fundraiser will also be EXTENDED until December 31st, for all of you that still have shopping to do! Sorry for the confusion.
Let’s Be Positive
By Explorer Express
Have you or your child had a good experience during your time at Weatherstone Elementary School? Then, please consider writing a review about it. During this time when there are so many choices for school assignments, we need to let everyone know how great it is to be a student at WES. There are many websites to choose from, so here are a just a few.
Please note that these are the sites that come up first when you search for ‘Weatherstone Elementary School,’ so feel free to search for other websites about WES. Ideas of what to post include writing about a favorite teacher or event or just what your PTA is doing for the school. We need all the positive press we can get, so let’s make our potential students feel excited about starting a new school year at WES.
