An Oral History of Law Librarianship

Spinelli’s Law Library Reference Shelf features an Oral History of Law Librarianship, a series of interviews with active and retired librarians and other individuals related to the law library profession. The interviews are conducted by Patrick Kehoe, former AALL President; Michelle Wu, Director of the Law Library, Georgetown University; and Frank Houdek, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Southern Illinois University.
The interviews showcase the librarianship profession; many also include personal stories about the profession, along with reminiscences about colleagues who are no longer with us.

Spirit of Law Librarianship Award
Each year, the Roy M. Mersky Spirit of Law Librarianship Award honors one law librarian or law library organization for service to the community. The Spirit of Law Librarianship Award Winners are added to HeinOnline's Spinelli’s Law Library Reference Shelf, and an easy-to-navigate chart lists the winners with links to their essays.
