The Evolution of Transportation
The City of Edmonton, SESA, ENMAX, the Alberta Motor Association will be hosting the Drive the Future Expo at NAIT featuring 40-50 of the latest green transportation options. Come see race cars powered by solar energy (University of Calgary - above), hydrogen (University of Alberta) and canola oil (Prairie Gold) plus racing motorcycles (Team Zeus). Also check out the electric cars and motorcycles from Porsche, Tesla Motors, Nissan and Zero that you can buy right now. Test drive an electric car, a GoPet, or an electric bike or motorcycle. This is a technical class suitable for solar installers and homeowners who have some experience with solar systems. It will also be useful for NABCEP certified PV installers or anyone planning to sit for the NABCEP exam. Topics include:
- Battery Basics and System Sizing
- Outback Equipment Options for Various Design Requirements
- Inverter, Charge Controller Programming
- Mate 3 Set UP and Operation
