Predict Your Time
That's right, we'll be rolling out the Nostradamus Contest once again this year. All registrants to the New Balance Fall Classic will be asked to fill in their predicted times and the top individual in the Half Marathon and 10K whose finishing time is closest to their projected times will be the winner of a brand new pair of New Balance running shoes! Spread the word and tell your friends to put their money where their mouth is by signing up to the 2011 New Balance Fall Classic.

Curious as to what your estimated time will be? Use this online Pace Calculator to see your projected time. If you've recently run a 10K and aren't sure what your Half Marathon time might be, check it out!

Fall on Campus

The New Balance Fall Classic takes runners around the beautiful UBC campus providing an opportunity to take in the incredible scenery that the area has to offer. We encourage all of our runners to go for a training run around the university campus if possible before event day.

The Monster Month
The final month leading up to a race is an important period in your training. If you're looking for the do's and dont's specifically around eating, training and thinking, play it safe by giving this Runner's World article a read. It is definitely too late to make up intense training sessions, but it's never too late to make wise, last-minute choices.

Supporting The Heart and Stroke
Once again the New Balance Fall Classic is supporting a remarkable organization in The Heart and Stroke Foundation, a volunteer-based charity that strives to eliminate heart disease and stroke through research and advocacy. Another way the Foundation aims to achieve their goal is through the promotion of healthy living both mentally and physically. Commit yourself to the goal of running in the New Balance Fall Classic and get your heart and mind into tip top shape!
