As Fall has set in and Summer comes to a close we are ready to gear up for the fall series of the TGI socials. October is always a special month for us at TGI as this allows us all to step back from our busy work days and help support our charities. This year will be supporting the Make A Wish Foundation of North Carolina and sponsoring 2 great kids again.

We are beginning our planning for the 2012 East Coast Game Conference and are looking for volunteers to help organize multiple aspects of the conference.  It is a great chance to meet folks in the Triangle video game community.  Please send info about your availability and any particular interest  to john@trianglegameinitative.org.

TGI Charity Golf Tournament for Make A Wish Foundation

The 2011 edition of our Charity Golf Tournament benefiting the Make a Wish Foundation will be held October 6th at 1pm at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course on the North Carolina State campus.Click here for more information on sponsoring and signing up. Play a round of golf at this challenging course while supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Carolina and helping make a difference in a child's life. We've confirmed a beautiful day for golfing - 78 degrees and plenty of sunshine. What a great way to thank a client or co-worker, network or just enjoy a day on the course. Following the event there will be a reception mixed with the Triangle Game Initiative social with a traditional good old pig pickin' and cocktails. There are still more team spots so come join us and sign up

Get On The Map

We’re compiling a listing  of North Carolina video game organizations similar to CrunchBase on TechCrunch and are also updating our map.  If you aren’t already on the map, or are a new developer, please email samir@joysticklabs.com.

Join TGI

We invite any local game company to support the North Carolina game development community by joining TGI.  Most of our efforts go to hosting  the East Coast Game Conference, and we are actively involved in promoting the region as a hub for game development, working with government on issues such as tax incentives, and hosting fun and educational events such as the TGI Social.
