Social Media: It's Time to Get on Board
Gretchen Jameson
from PurePR gave a compelling keynote talk at the recent FiveTwo WikiConference.  Going back to the Gutenberg press, the church used to lead the way with emerging technologies.  But in recent years our LCMS churches have widely chosen to ignore the social media trend.  At great peril.  It is not just another place to post announcements and information.  At the core, social media is redefining the way we interact and how communication take place.
Gretchen challenged church leaders to get on the bus and embrace that new reality.  If we are serious about mission, we need to join the conversation.  For all you Twitter fans, she was speaking to @five2 at #Wiki11.  If you want to see her presentation, check out the video stream from the conference.  Learn more about Gretchen by visiting her at www.purePRstrategy.com, on Twitter @purePRstrategy or on Facebook.
