Hello there,
We’ve looked hard in the mirror, cracked our knuckles and thought “yes, let’s do it again”.
Now that we’re dusted off a bit, and have recovered, Interesting North is raring to go again. It’s a touch earlier in the year, but that will mean no sun-blindness for those at the back.
1. Stick It In Your Diary.
Saturday 17th September, Cutler’s Hall, Sheffield.
We’ll be bringing another dizzying mix of people from all corners of this Interesting Isle. Last year, we had talks on:
Cake. James Bond. Keeping score. Dirty tricks. Losing minds. Story telling. Cycling fads. Learning from Lego. Feral children. Eyjafjallajokull. Catching sleepers. Wikiality. Playing by the rules. Riding side-saddle. Tweeting. And much, much more.
You can expect even more brilliant people to share their unique hobbies, peculiar bents and socially acceptable perversions in 2011.

2. Get Your Ticket.
We have room for 300 bodies, give or take a little one. Last year we sold out, got moved to a larger room and sold out again.
Don’t miss out this year.
Tickets are still dead cheap, so there’s no excuse. Seriously, they’re dead cheap.

3. Lunch is on us.
The nice people at the Archer Project don't want you to go hungry this year, either. They're serving up some lovely real bread that will be hand-baked that morning to go with a big bowl of soup.
So, leave your sandwiches at home. Bring a fiver, though - when they're not feeding us, the Archer Project does great work with vulnerable people.
4. Sponsorship.
