The 2011 Aurora Awards and Southeast Building Conference was just held in Orlando with 4 award winners having been engineered by FDS.  At the Auroras, out of over 200 entries, the coveted Golden Aurora went to Phil Kean Designs of Winter Park for his beautiful custom home, Miwa.  A Grand Aurora went to R. Nursey Development, Inc. for the Richbourg Residence, and an Aurora also went to Musgrave Building & Restoration, Inc. for the American Craftsman Revival.
 
This year the SEBC will feature the same home for the 2011 and 2012 New Southern Home.  2011 will demonstrate the building of the home, while 2012 will showcase the finished product.  The home was designed by Gary Hancock of Winter Park Design and is being built by Hardwick General Contracting.
 
Congratulations to all!  FDS is honored to have been your engineer.
